Spring Fund Raising Event - Marathon Booster

Welcome to Racery! Your virtual race is ready and the details are below, but FIRST we wanted to give you some next steps to help get you started.

  1. Join your own race so you can see how easy it is by going to the race map and signing up here:

  2. Invite your friends, co-workers, mom, old track and field buddies, uncle twice removed on your dad’s side, etc., to your race by sending them the race link:

  3. Send it by email, text, share it on Facebook or Twitter, or that obscure new social media platform everyone’s using this week! 
    Here’s some sample text to share:

    Join me in a 26.2 mile virtual race from Arlington to Washington Monument .

    Here’s how it works:

    • Sign up by submitting your name and email.

    • Run anywhere (seriously, anywhere).

    • You track your activity by a GPS watch, app, sundial, change in the tides, or any other means.

    • Reply to a daily email with your activity (yea! you’re smokin’ fast!).

    • Your place on a map is plotted instantly (you get a really cool avatar!).

    • Your total mileage, runs/week, and miles/week will be tracked.
